Is there a Dunkin' Donuts in Colorado Springs?

When my father-in-law moved to Colorado Springs, his first question was, "Where's the Dunkin?" Now that he's here, he drives 40 minutes round-trip every day for his Dunkin' Donuts coffee - he's just got to have his Dunkin'.

If you're like my father-in-law and you've just got to have your Dunkin', here's what you need to know: There are 3 Dunkin' Donuts in Colorado Springs. The one located at 6660 Delmonico Drive serves northern Colorado Springs - from Garden of the Gods Road, north. BUT, they routinely run out of donuts by 10 am. Which, to me, is quite irritating.

For folks like me who like to sleep in a little before heading out to take in all the Colorado Springs Open Houses, the Dunkin' on Delmonico just leads to bitter diappointment.

To ensure you get your fix for that sugar high you crave, drive to the Dunkin on 806 W. Colorado Avenue - which is right on the outskirts of popular shopping district - "Old Colorado City" or cut over to the Dunkin located at 201 North Circle Drive. These two locations offer a more robust supply. And, if you're a regular, you can call ahead to the W Colorado Avenue location and ask for Joon (that's JoOn, pronounced "June") - she'll hold your favorites aside until you arrive. Now that's customer service!
